Objective(s): -- Describe the differences between the political parties -- Determine where you seem to side at this point in your life Activities: -- Receive textbook and put a post-it where the Constitution is -- Briefly review Party Identification sheet that you received on Tuesday -- Read and complete questions on the back of the sheet to see if you lean conservative or liberal -- Class discussion -- Optional: Google "Am I a Democrat or Republican?" to take a quiz to see where you stand -- Receive a new handout showing the structure of the Constitution (if you want it) -- Review Article I of the Constitution from the textbook. Note how the Legislative Branch is set up, what it can do and what it can't do.
