Read & discuss. -- Receive handout, "Arguments as to the appropriate role of gov't." Read & discuss. -- Complete the front of "Researching Government Responses to the Great Depression" (Homework if not completed) -- Receive "New Deal Worksheet". Read and complete. (Homework if not completed) -- Using notes from yesterday, write a journal response on the Dust Bowl note sheet. The directions are above the box but for a context, you can add these options: a. you were affected by Black Sunday b. you were forced to move away, leaving your home, and you're departing today c. you're an Okie settling in California.
