Objectives: -- Identify famous Greeks and what they are famous for -- Summarize important facts about Alexander the Great Activities: -- With partner, fill out half-sheet on famous Greeks ("Who's Who in Ancient Greece") using the pages indicated at the top of the sheet. -- Individually, fill out acrostic poem on Alexander the Great. Be sure to follow the directions on the back. (Powerpoint shown Thursday is attached below since you don't have access to the textbook) Independent Learning: -- None (Alexander the Great poem is NOT homework. Enjoy Spring Break!) -- Open note quiz on Greece on Tuesday -- Weekly Weekend Work -- Check StudentVUE -- Do any missing work -- Check OG gmail account for messages from teachers -- Clean-out/organize backpack -- Restock supplies or put a note in planner to stop by Ms. Schaedler's room or the office to get needed supplies Notes/Handouts/Material covered in class: -- None, but if you would like to spend more time with the sample tests: Google "AZMerit," click on "Sample tests," click on "Take the sample tests," leave everything as "guest" and click "sign in," select your grade level and click "Yes," select the sample test(s) you want, follow the prompts.
